Hey there, Sail here! Anyways, I figured since I only do blogs every so often, I'd do one now... I've really enjoyed contributing to the Host Club wiki, and I expect to continue to do so. Anyways, one of the reasons I continuously edit here is because I'm just totally hooked on Host Club itself. Being a slice of life person, my friends introduced me to Host Club and I haven't looked back since. Why can't I get off of Host Club? Well there are a few things that make this series so great. Here I go:
1) The Plot:
Ok, the plot is amazing... It's like one of a kind xD I like how Host Club isn't your typical soapy romance series, but it's different, and boy, do I love rom-coms. For example, Haruhi dressing up as a guy. Obviously, animes have tons of that stuff, but I like how the series develops each character as it progresses, especially how Haruhi is more comfortable as a guy and how her relationships mold around it. Also, just the mention of a Host Club is like... D BEST. I'd never heard of a "host club" until watching OHSHC and reading the manga, and it really intrigued me that there were things like this. Even though I was dubious at first (after all, I like watching animes like Free! [fanservice xD]), Host Club was perfect, with 5 hot guys, 1 loli-shota, and an intelligent girl. What's not to like?
2) The Characters:
While I'm just here to share why Host Club is so attractive to me, I can't help but touch on the characters. Ik, it's so stereotypical, with the stereotypes in one club. But still, it's written so that it's amazingly hooking. I sound addicted... don't I?
3) The Anime/Manga Art
Maybe it's just me, but I absolutely adore Bisco Hatori's art. It's the best!!! Every character looks stunning, and Hatori never fails to capture their image perfectly. Trust me, I've seen other manga art, and Host Club's is beyond comparison... just my two cents (:
Any different views on Host Club? Why you like it a lot or not so much? Please let me know in the comments! I'd love to know what other people think about Host Club!
Sailflower Akemi That's an intriguing notion. 03:37, May 12, 2014 (UTC)
