The Gardening Club works in the greenhouse and outdoor grounds to grow plants and vegetables. Ritsu Kasanoda joins the club to make friends and is seen throughout the manga offering the vegetables he grows to Haruhi Fujioka. He even grows flowers for Takashi "Mori" Morinozuka as a graduation present.
The Gardening Club finds a treasure map in Chapter 59 of the manga. With the help of the Ouran Host Club and the athletic clubs, they discover a hot spring.
They also grow food for the animals in the Animal Breeding Club.
